Chico is a small (population of around 80,000) town in Northern California. The town was founded in the 1850's by General Bidwell and is in the Sacramento Valley near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Chico has the second largest municipal park in the U.S. (Bidwell Park - site of the 30's version of Robin Hood), California State University@Chico, the Sierra Nevada and Butte Creek Breweries, and more trees than you could count.
